The Village of Cambridge's Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer is the chief administrative officer of the Village and is responsible for the daily business and efficient administration of all departments. They are vested by statute with the authority and duty to enforce State law and County & Village ordinances. The Village Administrator is appointed and serves at the direction of the Village Board, the Village's corporate authority. The Village Administrator submits the annual budget to the Village Board, and makes recommendations as necessary to the Village Board.
